Did you know that 1 in 4 families has a working from home parent as a primary caregiver?
With the pandemic, we’ve seen a shift from families going more and more towards shared care from their homes. If you are concerned about your employees wellbeing, we’re here to help provide child care that’s safe during COVID.

What’s ilk?

ilk helps families create and manage child care pods from A to Z. A child care pod is where 2-5 families with kids below the age of 5 team up to share child care in their homes. Parents like pods because children get socialization without the risk profile of a daycare or preschool, and more individualized attention per child.

How can ilk help employees?

We help create a pod
We can partner directly with your employees to form small child care pods hosted in one of the pod families home.
We help recruit a provider
We source, recruit and screen caregiver or preschool teacher candidates to help parents save time and energy.
We help manage the pod
We take care of hiring the provider and all the work that comes with household employment so your employee can focus on other more important things.

Why partner with us?

Priority access to our service
When you partner with us, we give priority access to your employees. The faster parents solve child care, the less chances of them burning out.
Leverage your company network
It’s easier for parents to create pods with other parents they know and trust. They can leverage your internal network to create long-lasting pods.
Child care as a benefit
Employee perks have become a recruiting advantage. Stand out by offering parents child care benefits. If you offer Dependent Care FSA, employees will be able use these funds to pay for ilk.
